Currently, I use only the primary channel 38 for advertising data but, when the data are sent, I don't have the information of secondary channels (except the type, LE Coded, 1M, 2M).
Can we get this information

RE: Select the secondary channels of BLE

I have another question if you would be so kind. What I have learned from other questions is that these functions are used on the central to limit the peripheral.
When I first read you question, I assumed you had a peripheral that you were trying to limit to certain send channels.

Can you clarify for me?

- are you using these functions on the central or the peripheral?

- If it is the peripheral, you are saying that things like extended advertisement are sending only on the specified channel and sub channel you select?

RE: Select the secondary channels of BLE

Hello,

Yes, it works fine!
Sorry for the late reply

BR

Julien

RE: Select the secondary channels of BLE

Julien,
I hope you get this, but were you successful in selecting the channel?

RE: Select the secondary channels of BLE

Hello Kazi,

OK, I'll be testing soon.

Thanks for the support !

BR

Julien

RE: Select the secondary channels of BLE

hello Julien,

I got reply from team.

You can set a channel map with the channels you want to use with the bt_le_set_chan_map() function. You can see how t's used in the ble_qos.c file in the nrf_desktop application for example. There you use it as part of updating the channel map to find the best channels, but just the bt_le_set_chan_map() should do if you want to set static channels.

You can look at these files as reference

C:\ncs\v2.8.0\nrf\applications\nrf_desktop\src\modules\ble_qos.c

C:\ncs\v2.8.0\zephyr\include\zephyr\bluetooth\bluetooth.h

Thanks.

Primary cannel is mostly used for advertising/scanning, secondary for connection. However, it is also possible to advertise on secondary channel. Then it is only using extended advertising.
