I have another question if you would be so kind. What I have learned from other questions is that these functions are used on the central to limit the peripheral.
When I first read you question, I assumed you had a peripheral that you were trying to limit to certain send channels.

Can you clarify for me?

- are you using these functions on the central or the peripheral?

- If it is the peripheral, you are saying that things like extended advertisement are sending only on the specified channel and sub channel you select?

I got reply from team.

You can set a channel map with the channels you want to use with the bt_le_set_chan_map() function. You can see how t's used in the ble_qos.c file in the nrf_desktop application for example. There you use it as part of updating the channel map to find the best channels, but just the bt_le_set_chan_map() should do if you want to set static channels.

You can look at these files as reference

C:\ncs\v2.8.0\zephyr\include\zephyr\bluetooth\bluetooth.h

yes I use the extended advertising but I would like to know if we can to select or configure the secondary channel where the data will be sent. Currently, I feel like it's random.

Hello,

Primary cannel is mostly used for advertising/scanning, secondary for connection. However, it is also possible to advertise on secondary channel. Then it is only using extended advertising.

The primary channels are used for advertising then after establishing connection we use secondary channel to send data. In general, channel 37, 38 and 39 are only used for advertising, while channel 0-36 are used for connections. You would like to set secondary channel as peripheral or central?
