Hi Nick,

I am checking this internally with the team and will get back to you with an update. Could you provide me with a few more details?

Did you use SDK 2.7.0 originally? were your projrcts working well previously with the v2.7.0?
Do you use a nordic board (DK) or a custom board?
- If custom, was it created for hardware model v1 or v2?
Is the build sysbuild or old style parent-child build?
Is it only the C/C++ IntelliSense that is broken or is the build broken?
Can you share support logs?

I tried this and it doesnt work. I even tried creating a new project from an example in the SDK, and it still has errors for missing header files. Also the tab to create a build configuration does not load.

Many customers have mentioned that after downgrading to v2023,xx,xx they had success in many issues.

That being said, your current version should be fine, but it would be great if we could just confirm the version is the problem.

Can you recommend a stable version? Also, I did not know that I could open VS code via the Toolchain Manager. I will do so from now on. Thanks.

Hi Nick,

Could you try to downgrade the nRF extension version and check if you still face the issue?

Also, please make sure that you open the VSCode via the Toolchain Manager.

Could you tell me your nRF VSCode extension version as well as VSCode version?

Yes I am certain that VS Code and the nrf extension auto-updated. I am not aware of any auto-update function for the SDK.

Hi Nick,

This could be because of some corrupted update to the SDK or VSCode or even the VSCode nRF extension. Did you update (or observe any auto-update that took place) to any of these recently after you came back?
