&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;F&lt;/span&gt;or SDK 2.5.0 and later, you should use `sys_poweroff()` instead of `pm_state_force()` to enter the lowest power state (system off mode). Also, make sure to add the following configurations in the prj.conf:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;CONFIG_PM=y&lt;br /&gt; CONFIG_PM_DEVICE=y&lt;br /&gt; CONFIG_POWEROFF=y&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
