after a longer time, I wanted to use nRF Connect for Desktop again, to figure out what exactly my device under development is advertising.
thanks for looking into this. I will try to see, if I can find an older, working version.

I talked to our nRF Connect for Desktop team, and they said that they had seen this before. The nRF Connect for Desktop -> Bluetooth Low Energy app is, unfortunately archived, but at the same time, a replacement has not yet been made. The reasoning is that it is based off of the old SoftDevice implementation from the nRF5 SDK, so it will not be possible to add new features to it. What you can try is to roll back a version or two, and see if that helps (roll back the version of the Bluetooth Low Energy application, that is).

If not, is it possible to use the nRF Connect for Android/iOS? They have much of the same functionality. Although I see that the desktop version has it's advantages, and I tend to use it a lot myself, so I understand if that is not ideal.

Also, if you have a windows computer, it should still work there.

I am sorry for the inconvenience, but this is the state of the Bluetooth Low Energy app as it of today, at least.

Best regards,

It says you are using pc-nrfconnect-ble v4.0.4 official, while I see that I have installed a version called "official, v4.0.4-patch1":

Although it doesn't print the version in the log when I open it. Can you check if there are any updates available, and if so, try to update the nRF Connect for Desktop Bluetooth Low Energy Standalone app? Under the nRF Connect for Desktop, there is a settings tab, where you can click Check for Updates:

Can you do that, and make sure that you have the latest version installed?

Best regards,
