 we are developing our first predict with the Nrf52840 running with VDD at 1.8V(default option). 
 so far we have always programmed and debugged NRF52 devices using nRF52832 DK. &lt;p&gt;The development kits do not include a built-in level shifter for the debug output, unlike standalone Segger debuggers. Therefore, the 3V I/O voltage on the nRF52 DK must match the target device.
