I used NCS v2.6.1 earlier and did not see the issue in that version. I faced the issue in v2.8.0, but I did not check in v2.7.0.

Hmm yeah there seems to be issues using CONFIG_BT_SMP_OOB_LEGACY_PAIR_ONLY=y, on this particular BLE sample.

Did you happen to not see this issue on previous NCS versions?
