I am currently working on a Mesh Network using the Nordic Thingy53 board. As far as I understand, the Mesh protocol developed by Nordic already has encryption, obfuscation, authentication and replay protection built-in (as noted here https://docs

RE: NRF Mesh Encryption Algorithm

Hi MarioStoica,

The choice of encryption in the Mesh stack doesn't come from a decision made by Nordic, but from the Bluetooth Mesh Protocol specification. Therefore, it cannot be changed.

Please refer to Section 2: Mesh system architecture, and Section 3: Mesh networking in the Bluetooth Mesh Protocol specification for more information.
