I read the document and samples of Channel Sounding for estimate distance, they are working base on the ble connection.
Imagine a scenario, if there are hundreds client need to estimate distance, the host must manage all those connection, it's

RE: Can Wei using Channel Sounding to estimate distance without ble connection, just use the advertising?

Hi

Before a measurements, devices need to pair and establish an encrypted LE-ACL connection. More details on this can be found in the technical overview blog post here: https://www.bluetooth.com/blog/bluetooth-channel-sounding-a-step-towards-10-cm-ranging-accuracy-for-secure-access-digital-key-and-proximity-services/

So no way to do this as of now. Hundreds of connections was never the optimal use case for BLE applications, and you should probably go for a Mesh network if that is the case, which could use triangulation between devices instead of distance measurement with channel sounding.

Best regards,
