Unfortunately, extending SRAM is not something we support. Your products design may however be within the scope of the nRF54 series devices, but I recommend you reach out to your regional sales director to map out if this is the case, since I can't give any answers w.r.t roadline or product recommendations here in a devzone ticket.

It is indeed as suspected. There is not enough memory to run a TBR application plus a potential customer extension/application on the nRF52840.

Hi Ahaug I wants my device to be both Thread border router and Matter controller

Similar we have in google nest hub to work with google home. so we wants to eliminate buying google nest hub and replace this device so that we can control our other matter enabled devices from our own matter(controller+borderrouter) device

I think the terminology gets a bit mixed up here, since you mention both Thread Border Router and Controller about the same device (which is how I read your query). Could you have a look at https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/ncs-latest/page/nrf/protocols/matter/overview/network_topologies.html and clarify any misunderstandings?

What I want you to clarify is: Do you intend for the nRF52840 part of your device to be the Thread Border Router, the Matter controller or to be both?
