So, can you please clarify this point ? it is possible but won’t work everytime ? Is it sure that in February, the 2.8.0 version of the SDK will fully support FOTA over BLE for the nrf54L15 ? Thanks.

Hello Kazi.

Since our last chat, I managed to make it work with the nrf5340dk from the SMP server sample.
Need some modifications e.g. to tell the cores to start on their internal clock...
But we couldn't adapt our whole project above this sample, so.. let's wait for a full support.

Sorry but we misunderstood each other :
- the chapter 8 Lesson 3 of the academy deals with FOTA over BLE with the nrf5340dk and SDK 2.6.1.
- the YouTube video (YouTube link) deals with FOTA over BLE with the nrf52840dk and SDK 2.8.0.
- I'm looking for FOTA over BLE with the nrf5340dk and SDK 2.8.0.

Even if it may seem obvious, it is not to me.

The youtube video explains indeed how to implement FOTA over BLE using sysbuild but it is supposed to work with the board nrf52840dk/nrf52840. And I don't really understand how to create an overlay file, as the speaker says at 9 min 38 of the video.

We are working on updating lesson 8 to be compatible with NCS v2.8.0 (sysbuild).

The NCS intermediate course is compatible with SDK version v2.5.2-v2.6.1. That would be the probable reason why FOTA over BLE is not working on NCS v2.8.0. I
