We would like to experiment with the various Bluetooth IO Capabilities settings with nRF SDK 2.1.3 on an nRF5340. Our project was developed by starting with the nrf Bluetooth peripheral_uart sample and then adding custom services and characters

RE: Set IO Capabilities to NoInputNoOutput

Thank you Hung. I will have a look at those links.

RE: Set IO Capabilities to NoInputNoOutput

Hi Bob,
I'm taking over the ticket from Håkon.

The IO capability is selected automatically depends on the callback(s) registered in your application. If you don't register any callback for display or entry, then the IO capability will be NoInputNoOutput.
I discussed a little bit about it here: https://devzone.nordicsemi.com/guides/nrf-connect-sdk-guides/b/software/posts/building-a-ble-application-on-ncs-comparing-and-contrasting-to-softdevice-based-ble-applications#mcetoc_1elnvjgmc6

Btw, just in case if you are not aware of, we have a chapter in our Dev Academy that cover Bluetooth security that touch the IO capability at Lesson 5 exercise 1: https://academy.nordicsemi.com/courses/bluetooth-low-energy-fundamentals/lessons/lesson-5-bluetooth-le-security-fundamentals/
