Hi Einar,

I found that more accurate algorithms for RTT and PBR are supported by Distance Measurement in nrflib.

However, it is only available for nRF52 and nRF53 devices.

Will nRF54 be supported in the future?

Hi,

You are right that there is channel sounding samples in the SDK. The samples work but are experimental. You need to replace the algorithm with your own (which is far from trivial) if you want to use this now and get acceptable results, or wait until we get support for it (for which I cannot share a timeline).

Regarding direction finding, that is not supported on the nRF54L15.

Currently NCS v2.8.0 has added channel sounding function.

There is a sample code for it.

What I want to know is whether channel sounding can be enabled at the same time with direction finding.

As far as I know, it can't be turned on at the same time. Is there any plan to run both functions at the same time in the future?

Channel sounding is currently not supported in the SDK. Regarding support for this and direction finding for nRF54 series, plese contact the nordig sales representative for your region. (You can send me a direct message if you do not have the contact information).
