[/quote]It would be helpful you provide the errors. As far as I can see it's only warnings. Without any more information I can't say anything regarding the type of warning. I would presume its a notification that the same Kconfig has already been set another place.

when I try with RTT viewer. I change sending to send on enter. I type "start_tx_sweep" then I get the warning 0 of 15 bytes sent.

for example: type "start_tx_sweep" into the rtt and the radio_test responds "start_sweep".

May I explain then that "radio_test" REQUIRES TWO WAY communication. It is not merely a console printk debug example like so many others. Radio_test uses CONFIG_SHELL which is TWO WAY interaction across the link.

This state of the RTT is not very useful.

I tested on a 52840dk, to get it up and running i added the following to the prj.conf

CONFIG_USE_SEGGER_RTT=y

CONFIG_SHELL_BACKEND_RTT=y (this is missing from your prj.conf)

Then I used the RTT connection under connected devices

You can also use RTTviewer from segger if you prefer. There is no reason to go into debug mode.
