Hi, while reading the Zigbee documentation I saw the following note:

"Support for Zigbee R22 has been deprecated in nRF Connect SDK v2.8.0 and it will be removed in one of the future releases, following

RE: Chip recommended for new Zigbee designs

Hi,

According to the deprecation policy (https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/ncs-latest/page/nrf/releases_and_maturity/software_maturity.html#api_deprecation)
"The deprecated API will be removed in one of the future releases, no earlier than two releases after the deprecation is announced and only when the code has transitioned to not using the deprecated API".
The deprecation of Zigbee R22 was announced with the NCS 2.8.0 release. That means the latest NCS release - 2.9.0 - includes Zigbee libraries and fixes. Also, the next NCS release - 3.0.0 - will include Zigbee support.

After NCS 3.0.0 release Zigbee R22 libraries will be removed from NCS releases. Support will still be available via DevZone.

For nRF54L15 we already released Zigbee R23 experimental support as a part of nRF Connect SDK add-ons. Zigbee R23 implementation is operational but not optimized and not certified.
More details regarding Zigbee R23 will be shared in the coming weeks.

May I know the volume of your production?

I have forwarded your question to the team and am waiting for clarification. I will update the case when I collect enough information. Due to the Christmas and New Year holidays, you might expect an update after the holidays.
