We have designed a custom PCB for our product using the nRF5340 SoC. The peripherals resemble the ones in nRF5340 Audio DK. However, we are unable to achieve VCOM functionality on our custom PCB when we connect it to our Host PC.

RE: VCOM on custom PCB

Hi,

The nRF5340 Audio DK have an Interface MCU that takes the UART signal and converts it to USB to transfer over USB as VCOM.

I assume your custom board does not have an interface MCU?

In this case: Is your nRF5340 connected to the PC via its USB interface? In that case, it is probably easiest for you to enable logging over USB.

What do you think?

Regards,
Sigurd Hellesvik
