Hi,

The suppored device types are decided by Apple so we do not have control, but there is a previous dicussion mentioned a solution to used generic switch.

You can try it and see what I mean, the apple home app just support the matter device type of generic switch, It can not support matter device type of onoff switch or dimmer switch

I have used the engineering example of Matter: Light switch, burned it to the development board of nrf54l15, added it through the apple home app, and then showed that the device type was not supported on the main page

Thanks for reaching us about this issue.

I am not sure what you mean by "we can not use the Apple or google APP to bind the key". Do you mean you are not able to comission the device to Apple Home or Google Smart Home?

Have you tested with offical Matter: Light switch?

Eve Light Switch (Matter) - Connected Wall Switch - Apple This product is also based on NCS Matter Ligth Switch sample, so there should not be a problem for Apple Home.
