Thank your guidance, you're right.My cfg has some err and i fix it.I can use fota now.

My cfg :SB_CONFIG_SECURE_BOOT_NETCORE=n and CONFIG_SPI_NOR_SFDP_RUNTIME=y

A phenomenon was observed , CONFIG_FLASH_SIMULATOR can't set y when the SB_CONFIG_SECURE_BOOT_NETCORE=n, i don't know what effect this will have.

The JESD216 sample should work for the nRF5340 yes.

Oh, then you porbably have configured the flash DTS correctly.

Where do you add external flash configuration?

I had read this sample but my boards is different. I follow the sample and the err still happen.

It looks like the mcu can't communicate with the flash.My flash used nrf2.4.2 and muti-image build worked well in the past.

Do you have jesd216 sample for nrf5340?

If you use another external flash, you must make sure it has the correct DTS configuration, as for example as seen where we set the default flash for the DK.

You can use the JESD216 sample to read out information from your external flash.

Hi,

Maybe I find the result, the path which the err happen is \v2.7.0\zephyr\drivers\flash\spi_nor.c.

I use different models of flash, can the nrf2.7.0 support it?

I jumped this judge but see new error:

Can i use my extra flash?

Hi,

Do you have other DKs?

If so, have you tried to enable FOTA on those?

If not, I will try to help with this specific issue without having a look at a more generic case first.
