I am working on an audio recording and transfer application using nRF5340 (microcontroller development kit) and SPH0465 (digital microphone with I2S support). I am using NCS and Zephyr 2.7.0. I have had success in implementing the I2S echo

RE: I2S Master Receive RX Driver Issues

Thanks for the reply.

I was able to make it work by freeing block memory after every i2s_read.

RE: I2S Master Receive RX Driver Issues

Hi Umer,

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding this issue.

Unfortunately, I don’t have an SPH0465 on hand to test directly, but I can offer some advice to assist you in debugging.

Since the Zephyr I2S echo sample is already working for you, I recommend using a logic analyzer to verify the physical layer I2S communication. Then, compare the behavior with your application code to identify any differences.

I hope this helps you pinpoint the issue and resolve it effectively. Let me know if you need further guidance.

Best regards,
