 If I use nRF Connect Desktop to program a nRF52840 DK, I can get the heart_rate_collector.py script to work with it.

&lt;p&gt;The connectivity FW is compiled from a &lt;a href="https://raw.githubusercontent.com/NordicSemiconductor/pc-ble-driver/refs/heads/master/hex/nRF5_SDK_15.3.0_connectivity.patch"&gt;patched&lt;/a&gt; version of nRF5 SDK v15.3.0 and is usually built with the cmake build scripts provided here:&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://github.com/nordicsemiconductor/pc-ble-driver?tab=readme-ov-file#compiling-connectivity-hex-files"&gt;https://github.com/nordicsemiconductor/pc-ble-driver?tab=readme-ov-file#compiling-connectivity-hex-files&lt;/a&gt;. Also, the python binding (pc-ble-driver-py) is only compatible with Softdevice API version 5.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
