&lt;p&gt;2. Yes&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;3. You need to use the same voltage level on both devices&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;4. Yes&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In short you should follow what described in the d&lt;a href="https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/ug_nrf52840_dk/page/UG/dk/hw_debug_out.html"&gt;ebug out&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
