I'm quite new to the Nrf Connect SDK and Zephyr.
I'm trying to implement a simple DFU (over UART) bootloader. The idea is that when the microcontroller powers on, the bootloader selects the area to boot from and checks if a DFU is required

RE: Custom dual bank bootloader

It needs Mcuboot running with the SMP server as the course to communicate with
mcumgr.

RE: Custom dual bank bootloader

Hi, thanks for your answer !

I'm using the NCS v2.7.0, the thing is I don't want to use mcuboot because the only way to perform a DFU is through another microcontroller (via UART communication) and I wont be able to have mcumgr in CLI as shown in the course

Which NCS version are you using?

By default, MCUboot splits the non-volatile memory into two slots. You can look at this course which demonstrates NCS v2.5.2 - v2.6.2.
