Not aware of any similar issues in this batch, but if you go for the warranty and get a new one. Can you share the last ID on the sticker, the segger ID. This way we can check the log and update the logs.

Can you also share a image of the damage you see? And maybe the box also. It can happen that the kits get damaged in shipping.

Just using the USB and connecting and writing to the device should not result in the unit stop working. So warranty should do the trick.

What version of the DK do you have?

The sticker should say something like this:
PCA10056
Version 3.0.2
Date 2024.11

Date and version can be relevant. Dont need the bottom number, so no need to share that.
