&lt;p&gt;For QSPI, I&amp;#39;d recommend using the &lt;a href="https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/ncs-2.8.0/page/zephyr/samples/drivers/spi_flash/README.html"&gt;JEDEC SPI-NOR flash sample in Zephyr here&lt;/a&gt;, instead of creating a project from scratch like it seems like you&amp;#39;ve done here. The custom instructions aren&amp;#39;t the best use of the QSPI, as the speeds will be heavily bottle-necked.&lt;/p&gt;
