I cannot build a known-buildable project and get error A1023E.
No Programmer's Reference exists and there is no documentation referencing this error.
I think part of the problem is Nordic does not use environment variables so there is

RE: Q: What is "error: A1023E"?

This is not our error message, it's Keil's. However, you're right that our projects use relative paths, and are made to be put in a certain location in your SDK installation. If you need to place them somewhere else, you'll have to edit the paths manually, which as you've found out can be done with any text editor by opening Keil's .uvproj and .uvopt files.

RE: Q: What is "error: A1023E"?

Nordic does not know the meaning of it own error codes?

For error A1023E the brute force solution is to hunt down all relative references "...." etc in all files within the project and hard code the correct path relative to your drive letter. It takes a while. Maybe some files don't matter - I cant' say.

I use a utility called AgentRansack that can locate any specified text string (such as ".." ) in all files within a directory and subdirectories.

RE: Q: What is "error: A1023E"?

Hi Andre

It is a bit difficult to analyze your issue based on the error code alone. Maybe you could post the entire compiler output?
