hmm, this actually solved itself by adding --pristine to the build command, why?

Also, no longer see the error in my code

Now I get this build error:

I used west build -b nrf52dk_nrf52832, for the upstream zephyr this board was nrf52dk/nrf52832

I have ncs at ~/ncs and the project at ~/zephyr-workspace/blinkypwm/
ZEPHYR BASE points to ~/ncs/zephyr/

I don't understand the error : Invalid BOARD

Zephyr v4.0.0-2778 with commit hash 1b70bfa14e

So yes, I am using an upstream zephyr. I see, that it is recommended to use ncs-zephyr instead.

I will set up NCS v2.5.0, which uses ncs-zephyr v3.3.99, and will let you know if things work out.

Hi,

Based on the emitted zephyr version of v4.0.99, it looks like you are running upstream zephyr?

ncs-zephyr is currently at v3.7.99, even in the main branch.

In general, we do not recommend using main, but rather a tagged version.

Can you confirm what tag/hash that you're using?
