Hi, I got the same this issues when trying to build the sample USB dfu with ncs 2.9.0 and toolchain 2.9, how do you fix that?

I would strongly recommend that you don't follow that guide unless you're working with the SDK versions that are explicitly mentioned in this guide. It is several years old and a lot has changed both with partitioning and bootloader. I know it says "... and later versions" at some points in the guide and I've queried the team moderating the guides to change it to not refer to later versions.

The academy guide is work in progress and scheduled to be updated in February 2025.

However for now, you need to go through the documentation "manually".
