I have figured out the root cause. The problem is not repository version.

As we changed TX and RX size in "ipc_radio.conf", we need to flash "merged_CPUNET".

We should do a pristine build and flash 2 images altogether.

The version which was working for me was 5752d0c19ae6b0e7844f25fb4b58f914f45c420e of the https://github.com/NordicDeveloperAcademy/bt-fund.git repository.

I wasn't using the latest version of the git repository. After I've updated the repository the example solution now works as expected.

Hi Martin,

You are right in your investigation. 0x2022 is indeed the op code for LE Set Data Length, and 0x01 status code is Unknown Command.

In the lesson, the steps to enable Data Length update are separated into a General section, and a nRF5340 DK section. Did you make sure to follow the nRF5340 DK section?
