&lt;p&gt;I have figured out the root cause. The problem is not&amp;nbsp;&lt;span&gt;repository version.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;As we changed TX and RX size in &amp;quot;ipc_radio.conf&amp;quot;, we need to flash &amp;quot;merged_CPUNET&amp;quot;.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;We should do a pristine build and flash 2 images altogether.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;You are right in your investigation. 0x2022 is indeed the op code for LE Set Data Length, and 0x01 status code is Unknown Command.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In the lesson, the steps to enable Data Length update are separated into a General section, and a nRF5340 DK section. Did you make sure to follow the nRF5340 DK section?&lt;/p&gt;
