I tested this in the latest version of the VS Code extension and can confirm it works! Thanks so much!

I have asked internally about this issue. Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do at the moment but wait. Additionally, I cannot provide any timeline for when the issue might get resolved, but please note that I have made relevant team aware of the issue.

Hey Dejan,

With all due respect, not having this feature is a huge disappointment and highly surprising for what I thought was a "mature" software development platform. This is a basic feature that should be there from day 1 to allow developers to work on the same project with version control.

Is there somewhere I can submit a feature request and/or escalate this?

I have the same request. I'm trying to commit a project to source control and don't want to include the entire build directory (with all of the build-generated files). But it seems that all of the information about the build configuration is stored in the build directory. Is there a definitive list of files necessary (to save in a repository) to allow a successful build when cloning the project?

Yes, I can build projects fine using the build configuration wizard built into the nRF Connect extension. I am building for a nRF9161DK. I am trying to figure out how I can save this build configuration such that it can be committed to version control and reused by other developers.
