Actually, it's possible this entire thing was due to the probing of the serial port getting messed up due to the added debug port. It might be working as expected now. Feel free to disregard for now :)

I did not.

I realize this is no official software, but it would be highly appreciated if you could help me find a way forward here regardless. We have multiple customers who were planning on running production tests using a PPK2 as an important component and basic scripting support is 100% essential. If this is via fixing the unofficial python script or via someone releasing a protocol description so I can fix it myself - either is fine by me.

We don't really have a public API for the PPK2, but I asked the developers, and they mentioned that they noted the "ppk2_test.set_source_voltage(3300) in the sample, but that you perhaps took it away when you changed to apmeremeter mode, so it is important that this is set even though you don't use it as a source meter.

Or you can release a description of the serial protocol used to communicate with the PPK2? We're integrating this product into a production test rig and it seems a shame to have to reverse engineer the protocol

The IRNAS github repository is a 3rd party component, so I don't know if it is up to date. I would recommend that you open an issue in the github repository.
