Can you open a new ticket since the original issue is resolved?

Please include:

- Version of modem firmware being used

- Version of the nRF Connect SDK being used

- What is the application being run? If it's one of the samples from the SDK, that would be best. Otherwise provide the full source code

- Upload the complete log as a file, rather than selected lines. Previous lines could have important information.

Thanks, I don't see the errors anymore, but I am running into the following errors now:

[00:00:00.604,003] <wrn> location: Modem's system or functional mode doesn't allow GNSS usage [00:00:00.604,278] <err> location: Failed to configure GNSS [00:00:00.604,309] <err> location: Location acquisition failed and fallbacks are also done

I tried using low accuracy but still see the same warnings/errors as above.

No. The IMEI can only be written once and it must be done with PTI.

Please refer to the %IMEIWRITE documentation. Some nRF91 devices include a default IMEI that is used if you don't write one onto the device. Other nRF91 devices do not include that.

The nRF9151 has Production Test Image (PTI) running on the modem. That is the firmware that comes with the nRF9151 from the factory and is intended for use on the manufacturing floor of your device. You use PTI to select the power class (%POWERCLASS), to write your IMEI (%IMEIWRITE), and if you want to do testing of the SIM interface or GNSS/RX SNR tests.

The full list of AT commands available in PTI are in the manual here.

PTI will not work for regular functionality, so that explains why GNSS and LTE are not working. Once you are done selecting power class and programming your IMEI, you need to write a modem firmware that is compatible with the nRF Connect SDK version you are using. Here is where you can download modem firmware.

Hi, we didn't program any modem firmware image. This is the version information using the AT command you suggested:

You can use the %SHORTSWVER AT command if you have built the firmware with AT Host on a UART. An easier way would be to check what modem firmware image you programmed on the device. The version is part of the filename that you used to program it.

Thanks. I ran the sample referenced but it's failing to connect because we have to resolve LTE issues:

Do you use this location sample?

Which modem firmware version do you use?

Do you get the same error when you use location_accuracy normal (LOCATION_ACCURACY_NORMAL) or low (LOCATION_ACCURACY_LOW) instead of high (LOCATION_ACCURACY_HIGH)?

What is the modem firmware? Can you replicate the issue with a simple sample, such as the GNSS sample?
