I am using the Thingy:91X device and can see the updates appearing on the hello.nrfcloud.com web application, but I would like to have access to the 'device' via the nRF Cloud API.
I see on the older Thingy:91 and the NRF91610-DK device they have

RE: How do I add Thingy:91X device to my nRF Cloud account?

That is great new! Following the process in Quick Start it will print out the token, which you can claim in nRF Cloud under Security Services and Claimed Devices. Here you should be able to "Claim device" by pasting the token in "claim token". Once done the device will be listed under claimed devices and state "Ready", then the Asset Tracker template will eventually start the provisioning automatically.
some time ago I successfully added my Thingy:91 X to the nRF Cloud according to your suggested steps. After bricking it with custom firmware, I made a factory reset to the Hello nRF Cloud firmware using the nRF Connect Programmer and deleted the device from my cloud account. Now, in the Quick Start app, I don't have the option "Cloud multi-service sample" anymore. How could I add the Thingy back to the nRF Cloud?

Thanks in advance,
SMM

RE: How do I add Thingy:91X device to my nRF Cloud account?

Thanks.

Yes I have used Quick Start App to load the Multi-Service sample and that is working on the nRF Cloud account.

So the Hello nRF Cloud Firmware sample has a different cloud web site it uses, and I can't see the Thingy:91X in my normal nRF Cloud account? OK - no problem.

Regards,

Phil.

RE: How do I add Thingy:91X device to my nRF Cloud account?

Hello Phil,

You should be able to add this using the Quick Start app in nRF Connect for Desktop and program the Cellular: nRF Cloud multi-service sample to onboard your device to your nRF Cloud account. Note that Thingy:91X comes preprogrammed with Thingy:91 X: Hello nRF Cloud firmware.
