&lt;p&gt;The &lt;a href="https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/ncs-latest/page/nrfxlib/lc3/README.html"&gt;nrfxlib implementation&lt;/a&gt; of the LC3 codec is only for the ARM Cortex-M33, but there is another implementation available in Zephyr: &lt;a href="https://github.com/zephyrproject-rtos/liblc3/tree/main"&gt;https://github.com/zephyrproject-rtos/liblc3/tree/main&lt;/a&gt;. I suggest to use the latter in your project.&lt;/p&gt;
