I apologize for my delayed response. The issue was likely due to an unstable connection to my AWS IoT endpoint. I switched to another endpoint and added some delay after connecting to Wi-Fi. I’m pleased to report that I can now successfully connect to AWS IoT.

Hi,

-22 is EINVAL and is usually returned when there's an issue/problem with the connection itself (certs for instance).

Are you using the Amazon root CA 1 from here?
