Have you by chance selected nRF Connect as the default profile? Doing so will prevent several of the extension features from working because of a VS Code issue (source).

If you have not set nRF Connect as the default profile, please share the support information for the extension with me so I can forward it internally. You can find the "generate support information" toolbar action on the headset icon in the welcome view tab.

Hello,

Do you get a pop-up in the bottom right of the window?

When generating a build configuration through the extension, the build log can be accessed by clicking the pop-up.

If you don't see a pop-up, please let me know which version of VS Code and nRF Connect for VS Code extension you have installed.
