 I have the following tools: 
 Nrf connect 
 ncs v2.4.2 and zephyr rtos

&lt;p&gt;I don&amp;#39;t think you need to do anything else then what has been done in this sample&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/ncs-latest/page/zephyr/samples/cpp/hello_world/README.html#hello_cpp_world"&gt;https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/ncs-latest/page/zephyr/samples/cpp/hello_world/README.html#hello_cpp_world&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I would recommend not using NCS 2.4.2 as it is dated and rather use 2.9&lt;/p&gt;
