Could you delete all current versions of SDKs that you have installed, and then try to have a fresh installation of the SDK via VSCode extension?'

Sorry that's it's a bit frustrating. I understand your issue.

Have you tried downloading the SDK and Toolchain via Toolchain Manager in the nRF Connect for Desktop application?

Is this working ?[/quote]

The toolchain can be downloaded through VSCode and the directory can be opened, and I’ve successfully downloaded it multiple times after deleting and reinstalling. However, when I click Manage SDKs, I only see options for Install SDK and Create West Workspace. I cloned the
sdk-nrf
repository from GitHub and switched to the tag version v2.9.0. Then, I renamed the entire folder to
v2.9.0
. What should I do next to import the SDK into VSCode?

Is my SDK incomplete? I see that the Zephyr folder is empty, and the GitHub tags contain Zephyr version content. Since I'm not very familiar with using Git, what steps should I follow to get a complete SDK?

In the nRF Connect extension in VSCode, you should see the Manage SDK & Manage Toolchain options under the welcome tab.

Click those and select "Open Toolchain directory" & "Open SDK directory" respectively:
