I am working through the DevAcademy - nRF Connect SDK Intermediate lessons. I have reached Lesson 7 Exercise 1, found here - https://academy.nordicsemi.com/courses/nrf-connect-sdk-intermediate/lessons/lesson-7-device-driver-model/topic/exercise

RE: DevAcademy - nRF Connect SDK Intermediate - Lesson 7 Exercise 1 - Build Issue

Hi Kevin,

Sorry for the late response. I somehow overlooked this case in my queue. I tried the l7_e1 and it builds well at my end. I also tried with the SDK v2.6.2.

However, I initially got an error, which believe was because the "example_sensor" which you can see from my attachment, was named by default as examplesensor in the academy courses and this caused an error. Once I rectified it to as seen in the attachment, it worked well for me. I could not reproduce the issues that you have mentioned, unfortunately.

Regards,

I just realized that the .h files called out in these #include lines don't exist in any of my /zephyr subdirectories. For example if I go to ../academy_workspace/zephyr/ there are no files in there called types.h or device.h. And if I go to ../academy_workspace/zephyr/drivers/ there is no file in there called spi.h

It is also not clear to me which /zephyr sub-directory these #include callouts are referring, as I have the following (regardless, none include the specified .h files):

C:\ncs\academy_workspace\zephyr\

C:\ncs\v2.6.2\zephyr\

C:\ncs\academy_workspace\ncs-example-application\zephyr\
