 We are working with nrf53-DK evaluation board, and we are using P1.02\P1.03 pins for I2C communication. 
 We wanted to connect a 5V I2C slave on these lines can we connect 5V I2C slave.

&lt;p&gt;This will exceed the&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/ps_nrf5340/page/chapters/abs_max_ratings/doc/abs_max_ratings.html"&gt;Absolute maximum ratings&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp; for the chip and it may cause damage internally on the chip. If the slave needs to operate on 5V, you will need to&amp;nbsp;place a level-shifter between to translate the IO levels.&lt;/p&gt;
