It describes three possible ways to read the chip identification.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;With that you can find the suitable softdevice and sdk in table 4 from the &lt;a href="http://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.nordic.infocenter.nrf51.v1.0.0%2Fpdflinks%2Fnrf51_comp_matrix.html&amp;amp;cp=2_0"&gt;compatability matrix&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
