It describes three possible ways to read the chip identification.</p> <p>With that you can find the suitable softdevice and sdk in table 4 from the <a href="http://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.nordic.infocenter.nrf51.v1.0.0%2Fpdflinks%2Fnrf51_comp_matrix.html&amp;cp=2_0">compatability matrix</a>.</p> <p>EDIT: In SDK 8.1.0 the function nrf_ic_info_get will give the hardware revision, RAM size and ROM size from code.
