Note that I would not recommend doing any development for Edge Impulse on the Audio DK as this has not been tested. The HW is different and certain components used on the Audio DK might not properly function with the firmware you are referring to.

So, if I apply something like this firmware, designed for nRF5340 DK to my nRF5340 Audio DK, would it work properly?

Is nRF5340 Audio DK just an expansion to the original nRF5340 DK, with just more features, or does it have less features?

Hello,

There is currently no official support for the nRF5340 Audio DK with Edge Impulse, but you can use the nRF5340 DK. Have a look at the nRF Machine Learning application on how to get started with testing. More information can be found under Using Edge Impulse with the nRF Connect SDK.

Edge Impulse also has more information in their documentation for our boards.
