Glad to hear that your issue was resolved.
maybe because i was before developed code with a NRF5340 DK and all my software desktop was fit on the board.
Once you install the tools, then you should be able to build for multiple boards using the nRF Connect SDK, without having to uninstall and re-install each time you change a board.

But yes, this issue is a bit common because if you install new updates to the Tools, and maybe some network glitch etc. might cause anomalous downloads and improper installations of updates and then you will have to uninstall and re-install.

Anyway, happy that you are able to get it working again 🙂

Thank you for your response, i have tried all the proposition but my issue have not be resolved so i search in the dev zone and found that's a common issue on DK and find the solution that fit on my problem which is this one :

To reinstall all my software dev (Command Line Tools, JLink, NRF connect SDK for deskstop)

I don't know why but it work maybe because i was before developed code with a NRF5340 DK and all my software desktop was fit on the board.

Thank you anyway !

1. Please make sure you have J-Link appropriate version (preferrably latest) installed.

2. Also, make sure that all nRF Tools, like the nRF Command Line Tools, nRF Connect for Desktop etc are all up to date.

3. Try with a different USB cable (there have been cases of faulty wires which cause the board to not be detected).

4. Also, please connect the DK, then open Programmer app in the nRF Connect for Desktop application and then select your DK from the drop-down. If you are being prompted for a firmware update, please do it.

5. Check if your board is being detected by the PC.

Please check these and get back to me.
