The Bluetooth address printed out in the terminal does not match what actually shows in advertisements. For example the following message prints in the UART:

For fixing this, you could try to set CONFIG_BT_PRIVACY=n.

Best regards,
Dejan

RE: nrf5340 Audio BIS transmitter Address Issues

The problem is that I am not resetting or cycling power. The address in the application log is just plain wrong.

This is important because I need to know the transmitter name and its address in order to pass the Bluetooth test suites. I am relying on the application log to provide that information as I'm executing the test.

RE: nrf5340 Audio BIS transmitter Address Issues

Hi,

Current default setting for broadcaster is that it uses random non-resolvable address, and that address changes randomly every time after device reset. This is the reason why the address observed in the sniffer is different from the one in the application log.

Best regards,
Dejan

RE: nrf5340 Audio BIS transmitter Address Issues

Hi,
