It has been sitting in my drawer and has some sample code in it which is detecting button press and light up corresponding leds.

You can connect the &lt;a href="https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/ug_nrf52840_dk/page/UG/dk/hw_debug_in_trace.html"&gt;Debug IN&lt;/a&gt; of your faulty DK to the &lt;a href="https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/ug_nrf52840_dk/page/UG/dk/hw_debug_out.html"&gt;Debug OUT &lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;P19 of your good DK.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;It could be that the debug chip on your DK has become faulty. Are you able to program the SoC n the faulty DK with the Debug SoC from the good DK?&lt;/p&gt;
