Hehe I now see that I misread the title, sorry about that. The course you would want to have a look at is this one. Though you would have to modify the sample a bit for it to work the way you want it to, it might be an idea to skip the NCP part for now and just follow the steps mentioned in the devacademy course to get the SPI working.
