Please contact your provider to check why their LTE module cannot connect to AWS. I am not familiar with their module.

Maybe you can refer to our LTE module nRF91x config setting in the aws_iot sample https://github.com/nrfconnect/sdk-nrf/tree/v2.8.0/samples/net/aws_iot/boards. Hope they can help.

We are using Quectel bg96 module for LTE connection, and we confirmed that LTE connection is being established.

What is the Cellular module you are using? Is it nRF9160? Maybe check the LTE connection status.

Update :

After The suggested change we are able to make a connection to AWS, but still, occasionally getting the same error.

<err> mqtt_helper: mqtt_connect, error: -11

Even if the device gets connected to AWS, After the first publish the device hangs.

Please ask if you need more information.

Tested the firmware with updated value of CONFIG_NET_SOCKETS_CONNECT_TIMEOUT to 5000, still facing the same error.

Hi,

-11 is EAGAIN. That means the connection timed out. You could try to increase CONFIG_NET_SOCKETS_CONNECT_TIMEOUT, which defaults to 3000 milliseconds in our samples.
