After installing libunistring.so.2 I was able to complete the installation, load the blinky demo, compile and run.

Just a note: I am now using Linux Mint 22.1 Cinnamon, which is a derivative of Ubuntu 24.4 LTS.

I switched after having the same problem with Ubuntu.

Hi Carlo,

I believe the error that you see:

[quote user=""]libunistring.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory FATAL ERROR[/quote]

is because this is not included in the Ubuntu 24.04 but is required by toolchain. Please take a look at this ticket where a solution for the same is mentioned.
