Yes it should be possible to have both audio out and audio in simultaneously but this might be tricky with throughputs as there is a single core on nRF52833 to do pre and post processing of data. You can configure both I2S RX and TX for duplex audio between peripherals and combine PDM input with I2S output

RE: Feasibility of USB UAC Transmission with nRF52833 and Example Inquiry

hi susheel.

You said, 'There is a sample headset for UAC1 that has only UAC1 audio IN and not playback.' Does that mean that the speaker output works but the microphone input does not? You mentioned that both are possible through the test, but I want to be clear about which one is fundamentally supported between the speaker and the mic. According to you, there could be issues due to the limitations of memory on this variant, so I want to clearly understand what is fundamentally possible.

RE: Feasibility of USB UAC Transmission with nRF52833 and Example Inquiry

Hi Susheel

I want to clarify one thing. Is it possible to transmit audio in and audio out simultaneously on the nRF52833?
Note that there is a lot more example code for the NRF5340 as this chip can transmit audio via BTLE.
