&lt;p&gt;As Turbo points out, the Softdevice reserves access to certain peripherals such as POWER and RADIO when enabled. A full overview of resources which are&amp;nbsp;restricted or blocked to the application can be found in the&amp;nbsp; &amp;quot;&lt;a href="https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/sds_s132/page/SDS/s1xx/sd_resource_reqs/sd_resource_reqs.html"&gt;System on Chip resource requirements&lt;/a&gt;&amp;quot;&amp;nbsp;chapter of the Softdevice specification.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If you need to clear bits in the RESETREAS register after enabling the softdevice, you must do so via the&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;a class="el" href="https://docs.nordicsemi.com/bundle/s132_v7.3.0_api/page/group_n_r_f_s_o_c_f_u_n_c_t_i_o_n_s_24.html#ga35ec66682cd00c0a51c1e8552a285dd2"&gt;sd_power_reset_reason_clr&lt;/a&gt;&lt;span&gt;&amp;nbsp;() function.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
