I am currently working on verifying the BLE 6.0 Channel Sounding functionality on the NRF54L15DK. However, I encountered issues when trying to compile two examples: channel_sounding_ras_initiator and channel_sounding_ras_reflector .
Thank you for your suggestion! I’ve confirmed that your method works. In addition to your solution, I also found that installing the SDK in the root directory can resolve the issue as well.

However, I believe your method is better because installing the SDK directly in the root directory can lead to some issues, such as the toolchain manager being unable to load the SDK list. Adding too many files to the root directory can also cause clutter.

Thank you again for your helpful response!

RE: Unable to Compile and Build SDK (2.9.1) BLE Channel Sounding Example

Hi,

Thank you for your reply! It was indeed an issue caused by the path being too long. I tried installing the SDK directly in the root directory (D:/), and it worked perfectly for compiling.

In addition, I saw another response suggesting an alternative solution: creating a new project and using a shorter folder name. This way, it’s not necessary to install the SDK in the root directory.

I think the second method might be a better option because installing the SDK in the root directory causes the toolchain manager to fail to load the SDK list. This might be due to the fact that there are many other files on my D drive.

Thank you very much for your help!

RE: Unable to Compile and Build SDK (2.9.1) BLE Channel Sounding Example

Hello!

I had the same problem. The problem, is that you are trying to build a project in a folder with sample project, which have long pathname. The solution was by coping the sample in separate project:
1. NRF Connect, Create New Application
2. Copy A Sample
3. Choose your SDK version
4. Search for initatior project
5. Write a new project folder (like "C:\Projects\NRF\cs_initiator", for example)
6. Try to build

RE: Unable to Compile and Build SDK (2.9.1) BLE Channel Sounding Example

Hi

Unfortunately we don't have any other sample projects for doing Channel sounding in the nRF Connect SDK as of yet, as it's still only experimentally supported. It seems like both builds here give the same warning, that the maximum full path to an object is close to the maximum of 250 characters, and thus it can't seem to find psa_crypto_driver_wrappers.c because of what I assume is the path length. Try reducing the path length to the nRF Connect SDK as much as possible and see if that helps.

You should also make sure there are no Chinese characters in your path as that is known to cause trouble for various programs working with the ASCII characters.

Best regards,
