&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;If you use the P20 connector, you need to connect the VTG pin to VDD on the nRF52840DK.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The SWD output plug is supposed to use a detection pin in order to auto-switch from the DK MCU to the externally connected one.
